An insane amount of real estate is wasted on casinos.
Thoughts about the podcasts and audiobooks I've listened to so far:
The "Optimism" episode of the Thomas Jefferson Hour podcast is great - a terrific place to start, in my opinion.
Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles" is pointless and grim. I don't care if it's considered a classic: no matter how artfully a story is told, if the ultimate message is that humanity will inevitably destroy itself then I'll fail to see the point of the work as a whole.
