Almost all of those were domestic violence cases. Here's what struck me:
  1. How common it was for the defense attorney to simply not show up.
  2. How common it was for court-mandated domestic violence counseling clinics to fail to submit the requested reports on client attendance and compliance. Seriously, this seemed to cloud about a third of the cases.
I honestly think I'd prefer juvenile court work to this.
