The Newseum

Here's my little insider tip for anyone who travels to Washington DC and visits the Newseum: the coolest thing you can do in the Newseum is head to the fourth or fifth floor exhibit with newspaper front pages for the most significant events in our history laid out by decade. Start at about 1900, then quickly walk forward to the present day, looking at the headlines as you move without pausing.

It's downright eerie how much that makes you feel as if you're traveling forward in time :)
