So, Monday is Burning Man's last day. The evening before that, "The Temple" is burned. The evening before that, "The Man" is burned. And two days before that, an entire circle of different wooden sculptures surrounding "The Man," each created by a different regional Burning Man organization, is also burned. What you see here is the contribution of the Great Lakes regional organization.
The point of the regional organizations is to give people a chance to work and socialize with other creative individuals throughout the year.
