Something I thought about on the drive home

Only 109 years passed between the first successful airplane flight at Kitty Hawk and today's successful landing of the Curiosity rover on another planet. If the world's oldest person (Jeanne Calment, who lived to be 122) had been born at just the right time, she could have clearly remembered both events.
