At the Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto KY

What you see here is the family desk, where much of the planning was done.

This distillery has been designated a National Historic Landmark, and is indeed the world's oldest bourbon distillery (it has been operating on the same site for the last 205 years, presumably excluding prohibition).

The grounds are also beautiful, and include a designated wetland as well as various other conservation efforts: if you're in Kentucky, I do recommend a visit.
