It turns out right next to the USFS Hatchet campground (which was a mere $10) is a high-end place called the "Hatchet Resort." This resort offers "hostel" arrangements for $95/night, and regular lodging for around $160/night.
However, for the benefit of their guests they also offer a nice restaurant, very reasonably-priced, with the free WiFi which has allowed me over the last few hours to post all of these recent photographs.
So in other words, here I am enjoying the best of both worlds, which now that I think about it has been one of the themes of my life :)
How convenient :)
