Picture of me as a baby

Before I left for this trip, I loaded my iPhone with the new BBC nature documentary about Yellowstone National Park, the audiobook of Alastair Reynolds' new novel Terminal World, a ton of TED presentations and Charlie Rose interviews, a bunch of law stuff, a range of eBooks including the classic road memoir Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (which I was required to read in high school and whose route follows a major upcoming portion of the TransAmerica Trail), AND all the slides and negatives I scanned for my parents over spring break.

So, thanks to the last of those, here is a picture of me well before my first birthday, not to mention college.

It's cute and all, but I am ashamed to say that today my brain alone weighs almost half as much as my ENTIRE BODY did when I was born.

I guess I've really let my brain go :(
